First and foremost, Nature Box Pet Emporium is committed to customer satisfaction; if you are not happy, we are not happy. We are a small, family-owned business that was built from the ground up by a handful of passionate individuals that has grown by word of mouth between hobbyists. Because of this, we offer lifetime customer support on all questions relating to our animals and supplies.

Shipped Animal Guarantee

Nature Box Pet Emporium Company guarantees our animals to be alive, healthy, and to your satisfaction upon arrival. Notification of dissatisfaction must be made within 24 hours if you notice any problems. If you have any questions or concerns, we expect you to call us first (we are open 7 days a week). We do not guarantee animals that are not signed for on the first delivery attempt. You must be there and sign for your animal delivery.

We also guarantee the sexing of our animals. If they are listed as males or females at our website, they are guaranteed to be as such. A “pair” is one male, and one female.

Shipping for most animal orders is $55.00. This covers all necessary heat packs, cold packs, styrofoam-lined animal shipping box, deli cups, snake bags, and other necessary packing materials. Live arrival can only be guaranteed when temperatures en route are between 40-89 degrees. If the package is delayed by the carrier, our guarantee still applies!

We make every effort to pack animals according to your weather conditions, but cannot guarantee animals when your daytime high temperature is above 90, or your daytime high temperature is below 35 degrees.

Nature Box Pet Emporium Company is not responsible for freight/shipping charges on the replacement of animals, and there are no cash refunds of any kind (store credit only).

If for any reason you would like to return your animal, you are responsible not only for shipping, but for the animal to arrive back to us alive and healthy. You must ship the animal back overnight, and pack it properly just like we did when it arrived to you.

In-Store Animal Guarantee

Nature Box Pet Emporium Company guarantees our animals to be alive, healthy, and to your satisfaction for 3 days after the original date of purchase, with the exception of amphibians and invertebrates due to the sensitive nature of these types of animals.

Internal issues on imported animals are not included under our guarantee; it is an outward health guarantee only on imported animals. Please be aware of what you are purchasing, and do the proper research (and ask us, as we are very happy to help!).

Our guarantee is void if you do not have the proper environment to house the animal in (for example, putting a bearded dragon in a plastic Kritter Keeper is not appropriate). This includes temperature, bedding, and proper lighting.

Expo Guarantee

Nature Box Pet Emporium Company guarantees our animals to be alive, healthy, and to your satisfaction at time of purchase. Due to the nature of expos it is (unfortunately) very common for animals to be left inside vehicles that are too hot or too cold for prolonged periods of time. Animals purchased from expos are not sent home in insulated containers. For this reason, we do not guarantee our animals once they leave our booth. Ordering

What to expect when you order from us:

After an order is placed, a payment receipt is sent to the email address used during checkout. When the order ships, another email containing tracking information will be sent from either FedEx or USPS. If an incorrect email address was used while placing an order, or you have not received tracking with the below order processing schedule in mind, please contact us for tracking info.

 

 

Processing

When to expect your order to ship:

We pack & ship orders as quickly as we can, paying extra attention to ensure animals arrive safely. Most supply and feeder orders ship within 1-2 business days of an order being placed. We do not ship orders containing animals over weekends, to protect them from the typical weekend delay. For that reason, animals will not ship until the following Monday/Tuesday after the order is placed, to ensure the contents avoid any delays and arrive safely. Shipping type (standard or express) does not affect order processing times. As always, if you are in a serious rush to receive any order, please contact us after the order is submitted to keep us in the loop! We don’t mind helping out whenever possible.

Live Animal Guarantee

Shipping live animals

Live animals are only sent Monday and Tuesday, with some exceptions; however, if temperatures are deemed too extreme, or if Fedex has issued a delay warning, we reserve the right to hold shipment, or revoke our warranty if you want the animal sent against our recommendation.

Orders must be accepted on the first delivery attempt, and all damage claims (DOA) must be reported (with photos) within 12 hours of the package being delivered to qualify. In cases of DOA we will either reship a replacement at our cost, or issue a full refund. Which option we take is up to the client and is dependent on availability.

Online orders with live animals are subject to a 10% restocking fee. When an animal is purchased it is taken off of our availability list and no longer able to be sold.
