Terms & Shipping

ONLINE STORE and SHIPPING policies and procedures:

First and foremost, Nature Box Pet Emporium is committed to customer satisfaction; if you are not happy, we are not happy. Because of this, we offer lifetime customer support on all questions relating to our animals and supplies. 

We guarantee that all of our products will arrive to you free of defect and in proper working order. If you receive a damaged product please contact us immediately. We are not responsible for damages incurred during shipping, however, all supplies are sent with insurance for your protection. If you believe your product to be defective contact us and we will attempt to resolve the issue. If the item is found to be truly defective we will replace that item free of charge! However, you must first ship that item back to us at your expense. When we have the damaged product we will refund the cost of shipping.

Should the unfortunate event of an animal arriving dead (DOA) or dying, take a picture of the animal still inside its cup, and save the animal. Then contact us immediately for further instructions. All animals are sent FedEx Overnight Air in order to prevent any DOA’s. It is required that someone be at the delivery site to sign for the animal; if you do not sign for your box the warranty is void! Please contact us to coordinate shipping; live items are only sent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. We will use appropriate heat or cold packs when shipping; however, if temperatures are deemed too extreme we reserve the right to hold shipment or revoke our warranty if you want the animal sent against our recommendation.

At your request we will attempt to provide pictures of the exact animal you will receive. We could try to describe the animal to you if you wish; however, a picture is worth 1,000 words.

We accept payment with Visa, Mastercard Discover, or Pay-Pal. Should you wish to hold a 25% non-refundable down payment is required, which will hold that animal for one week only. After that time frame, if no other arrangements have been made, you will forfeit the hold on the animal as well as your deposit money. It is strongly recommended that you keep in close contact with us during this time.

RETAIL STORE policies and procedures:

At Nature Box we offer a two week conditional guarantee on all like new items still in original packaging. Refunds are issued in the form of exchange or store credit only, sorry!

There are some exceptions to this two week policy.

Live animals come with a three day health guarantee valid from the date of purchase with the exception of amphibians and invertebrates due to the sensitive nature of these types of animals.

We strive to hand select only the best quality, healthy animals available, but if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact us.

Driftwood is not guaranteed at all. No refunds or exchanges will be given for these items.

Light bulbs will be replaced with an identical item if there is a defect within 30 days.
